The administration building of the Association for Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning Bavaria (Fachverband SHK Bayern) is located in an area with commercial and residential buildings. The four-storey building, providing office and conference rooms as well as underground parking facilities, was completed within a planning and construction period of only one and a half years.

A delicate glass structure, containing entrance and stairwell, accentuates the long rectangular construction towards the street, with a transparency and scale responding to the smaller residential buildings in the vicinity.

This striking open construction style of the shorter side of the building facing the street is facilitated by efficient utilisation of the depth of the plot through adoption of a conventional floor plan with central corridor. The offices oriented to the north and south are shaded by steel balconies and horizontal glass louvres fitted to the exterior façade.

One of the fields of work of the association is represented by the sheet metal external cladding of the building, with titanium zinc on the office façade and copper on the rear surface.
