The new building has created a state-of-the-art research facility that brings together innovative laboratory technologies under one roof. Its purpose is to investigate global threats posed by antimicrobial-resistant pathogens and to develop new strategies for their prevention. The facility features cutting-edge research and containment laboratories of biosafety levels S2 and BSL-3, as well as flexible communication and workspaces designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among expert teams. A defining architectural feature of the building is the pair of spacious loggias located at one corner of the structure, providing researchers with attractive spaces for communication, networking, and relaxation. The project was completed within the approved budget, and no use was made of the allocated indexation contingency funds.
